DESCRIPTION:
A PCR workstation is a closed cabinet fitted with a filtered airflow system with a unidirectional constant flow of air with almost no or minimal turbulence. The airflow velocity remains between 0.4 m/s to 0.6 m/s. The purpose of using such workstations in the laboratory is to create a particle and bacteria-free working environment to carry out specialised work. As these units discharge air towards the user, they provide no personal protection but product protection from room contaminants.
CONSTRUCTION
These cabinets are ergonomically designed to provide a long service life. Only thick metal sheets and pipes are used in construction, so that you may get the finest and safest bench on the market today.
There are 3 different MOCS used:
- Complete Stainless Steel 304 / 316
- Inner Stainless Steel, Outer Mild Steel
- Stainless Steel bench, Rest mild Steel

AIR FILTRATION – PCR WORKSTATION:
Our PCR workstation is equipped with a high-efficiency air filtration system, designed for optimal performance even in critical lab environments.
- Pre-Filters: 95% efficient down to 10 microns; box-type pleated filters made from HDPE + non-woven media, fitted in an aluminium frame.
- HEPA Filters: 99.97% efficiency down to 0.3 microns, enclosed in anodised aluminium casing.
- Blower Unit: ¼ HP motor, 1400 RPM with anodised aluminium impellers.
- Work Area: Ergonomically designed with SS 304 workbench, easy to clean, and equipped with air/gas cock and electrical outlet.
- Lighting: Fluorescent lamp for illumination; manual sliding sash with transparent acrylic front.
- Electrical Sockets: Equipped with an additional built-in socket for powering compatible external devices, enhancing lab convenience and setup efficiency.
